WEAR NIGERIAN

IRO ati BUBA
      I remember when Iro and Buba were only used by the Yoruba women then it graduated to being worn for weddings as aso-ebi and so on but now Iro and buba is undoubtedly the biggest trend in Nigeria so far. The year 2014 has been a comeback for Iro and buba. This year alone more people have worn Iro and buba more than it has ever been worn. I mean to weddings, events, red carpets, occasions, dinner etc. From babies to adults to old fashionistas it is everywhere.
    No matter how much people complain about how its getting random, I don't see it leaving the fashion scene anytime soon. Its a double win its comfortable and elegant so why Not? Its going to be here for a long while. A lot of designers are buying into that que and making a lot of ready to wear Iro and buba pieces. Best part is that there are no restrictions, you can mix and match and wear with anything. If you are not comfortable with the complete iro and buba, you can switch it up and nobody has to know (;

Here are some of my favourite pieces
